The Family Forward Fund removes financial barriers for single mothers and supports them to pursue opportunities that promote their economic security.
Cause We Care Foundation established the Family Forward Fund at RayCam Cooperative Centre to support single mother-led families to access vital supports, while they are participants in programs at RayCam. The fund covers costs of childcare, transportation, registration fees, books and other soft costs as these single mothers participate in programs that increase their chances for sustainable employment. These programs include literacy programs, Food Safe, computer skills training, and workshops.
