Thank you for attending our Mother’s Day Luncheon last Friday. Our biggest and most successful fundraising lunch ever could not have happened without your incredible support! We are grateful to all of you for buying raffle tickets, purchasing gifts at the Blue Ruby and Aritzia pop-up shops, and giving generously through direct donations. We are thrilled to announce that we raised over $450,000 to support single mothers in our community.

We would also like to extend a big thank you to Paullette for sharing her story, and her willingness to speak openly about the challenges she has faced as a single mother. She has shown such remarkable strength, and her heartfelt gratitude for the help she has received is a reminder that the programs you help fund are critical to many deserving mothers and their children.

A special thank you to our wonderful emcee, Sophie Lui, as well as Presenting Sponsor, @osler_law, Venue Sponsor, @aritzia, and all of our sponsors and event partners whose support helped to make the event such a success.

Cause We Care Foundation invests in the success of single mothers.

Single mothers and their children are disproportionately impacted by poverty in BC. Cause We Care is committed to investing in critical supports that help to break the cycle of poverty for these families, including housing, childcare, and education.

This Mother’s Day, help us support single mothers by making a donation in honour of your own mother, or purchasing a gift from one of our retail partners with proceeds directed to Cause We Care programs and initiatives.

As a mother of two, Sangre De Fruta Founder Alison Audrey Weldon understands the importance of the work Cause We Care does to support families in need.

ANOTHER WAY TO DONATE

When you clean out your closet and bring your gently used (or new) items to Turnabout Luxury Resale, you have the option to donate the proceeds from sales to Cause We Care Foundation. Through this program, a minimum of 60% of the sale price of items dropped off under our account will be donated directly to help support single mothers and their children in our community.

And if you needed yet another reason to donate, here it is: Between now and May 31st, when you drop off donations (mention they're for the Cause We Care account), you will be entered to win a $500 Aritzia gift card and a $500 Turnabout gift card!
